History

• 2021-2026

  Konglomerate Games

  After Transfuzer and my Masters I got a job working as a General Games Programmer at Konglomerate Games. During my time at Konglomerate Games I have shipped various game related projects in various fields ranging from Healthcare to Education. Due to the nature of the company and the contracts we take on I gained experience across many areas of game development including but not limited to:

  - UI and UX

  - AI

  - Gameplay

  - Visual Effects

  - Graphics Programming

  - Animation Programming

  - Systems architecture

  Additionally I have regular experience working, communicating and meeting with clients in a professional capacity.

• 2025

  Mentoring student teams at Abertay University

  While at Konglomerate games I had the privilege of getting to mentor two student teams at Abertay University during their 3rd year professional project module. This process involved reviewing work at key milestones and providing structured feedback to support their development. Having done this module myself when I was at Abertay it was a surreal but privileged experience being on the other side of the process.

• 2021

  Transfuzer

  Overlapping with my Masters at Strathclyde I took part in Transfuzer working on Dungbattles. More about this project can be found in the projects page.

• 2020-2021

  Msc Advanced Computing Science at Strathclyde

  In 2020 I studied a post graduate course in Advanced Computing Science at the University of Strathclyde achieving my Masters and graduating with a Distinction. Here I learned about a variety of AI implementations using Python and R including LLMs, Genetic algorithms, Genetic equations. For my Master's project and dissertation, I investigated the feasibility of detecting Glaciers with a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) using commercial satellite images.

• 2016-2020

  Bsc (Hons) Computer Games Technology At Abertay

  After leaving high school I studied Computer Games Technology at Abertay University where I graduated with a 1st, the highest grade possible in Scotland for a Bachelor with Honours, in 2020. Here I learned and gained experience with C++, OpenGL, Direct-X, SFML, Python, asynchronous programming, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics in general and Animation programming and Augmented Reality.
